I receive a lot of emails where people ask for job opportunities of different kinds with me or my collegues at Chalmers. It is not possible for me to respond to all these requests.
We always need research funds to hire people and we continuously seek such funds. Every time we have funds available for a position, we advertise the open position under Vacancies on the Chalmers web page. Please check this link regularly and apply according to the given instructions when you find something of your interest. We cannot hire people at any other times and I will therefore not evaluate applications that I receive on my own email addresses. Formal applications should always be sent to Registrar at Chalmers at the address given in the advertisement.
If you have your own stipend, please note that Chalmers requires that it amounts to at least 14.000 SEK per month. If it is less, we are required to add the difference between 14.000 SEK and what you have, and this is in almost all cases impossible for us due to the limited funds we have available and due to the fact that we cannot use government funds for this. If you write to me about the possibility to come to us on your own stipend, you must clearly state the amount of your stipend and if it is less that 14.000 SEK per month, I will not consider your request.
